SUMMER ON KAUAI


Celebrated the Annual Koloa Plantation Days in Sunny Poipu July 18th-26th

We celebrated the many ethnic groups that came to Hawaii to work on Hawaii’s first sugar plantation founded in 1935 and the Hawaiians who welcomed them. This nine day festival encompasses music, dance, costumes, and food through a lively, family-oriented slate of events that showcase the area’s social history, its natural history, and its diverse cultural traditions. Moonlight & Music in the Garden – August 8th

The National Tropical Gardens are a beautiful treasure if you have not visited them on one of your trips to the island, it is a must.

If you are going to be on island September 6th then register for the Kaua’i Marathon! Run in Paradise! The full marathon 26 miles or half 13 miles will take you all through the south side of Koloa, Poipu and Kalaheo.

The momentum continues to build on site as construction activities continue to move along and as we finalize exciting details shaping the project. On the construction side things are progressing nicely and the buildings are beginning to take shape with the framing and roof installations in progress.

The latest announcements made included an introduction to the new hospitality partner and the timing for revealing of our model suites. These updates are recaptured below.

Azul Hospitality Group (AHG), operating as Azul Hawaii Resorts, has been selected as the new operator for the resort.  AHG also has the expertise in providing the best in class service experience that has always been envisioned for Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach. As the management company for the resort, AHG will operate and maintain the common elements for the Homeowners Association.  They will also operate the front desk, poolside bar & grille, and other on-site commercial facilities.

Two model suites located in Building One on the first floor will be available for viewing before the holidays come in December.  There will be a 2-bedroom B2 floor plan and a 3-bedroom G3 floor plan.  Our models will showcase the Waimea and the Na Pali interior design package; each suite will be fully furnished with our impressive furniture collection. This would be a great opportunity for you to preview the design of your island home and solidify your interior color scheme. 

We are also pleased to let you know that Phase Two of the project will be released for sale shortly. We anticipate there will be a price increase on all residences in Phase Two. The details of this release are currently being finalized and as the homeowners will be the first to know all the details. Look for communication related to this new phase release in the near future.

As noted above there are other positive developments that are being finalized that we plan to communicate to each of you. You can expect to receive more exciting news throughout the next few months.


THE KOLOA LANDING TEAM

Our construction team’s main focus is on completing the model suites located on the first floor of Building #1.   In the next couple of months the roof structure, stucco, front and back stairs, interior framing and sheet rock will be completed.

As you can see Bldg #6 roof is being installed as we speak.  The Fascia will be painted and the roofing tiles will be installed within the next couple of months.  In addition, the Lagoon and Adult pool vaults on the Right End of the project (facing makai-ocean) will also be complete.
